Industry benchmark extract
The CSV is generated from the same live industry table used by this portal. Blank cells mean the underlying source did not publish a value at that NAICS level; they are not zeroes or estimates.

Profit-margin, receipts, and net-income fields are calculated from IRS Statistics of Income aggregates. Employment, establishment, and payroll fields come from Census County Business Patterns. The file does not blend, interpolate, or fill suppressed source values.
How to reuse the data responsibly
Use the NAICS level and data year when comparing records. An industry aggregate is not a company-level result, and a missing field should not be treated as a low value. Cite PlainBizBench for the assembled extract and the underlying IRS and Census publications for their original datasets.
